Seattle Serves Up Inaugural Art Fair

When you think of a major Seattle attraction, an art fair may not be the first thing to come to mind. Paul Allen's company Vulcan Inc. is set to change that on July 30th, when Seattle welcomes its inaugural art fair. One of the great things about having a company like Allen's drive this type of event, is that they have the resources to ensure it is nothing short of spectacular.

We have come to appreciate the uniqueness of each Art Fair, which aims to reflect the art culture of the hosting city and community. With some of the top galleries and artists showing, it should be no surprise that this first event for Seattle feels a bit like they have something to prove. We are used to seeing fairs in larger art markets like New York and Los Angeles, but this Seattle show brings something new; it also brings those big name galleries, like New York's Gagosian, and galleries from Canada, like Vancouver's Gallery Jones. Those galleries will be in good company alongside the myriad of Seattle talent with nearly a dozen local galleries like G. Gibson, Greg Kucera, and James Harris in the mix amongst the almost 70 participating galleries in total.

The Seattle Art Fair runs from July 30th till August 2nd, 2015 with tickets starting at just $20 per day. For those of you seeking a more exclusive experience, there are a limited number of VIP tickets available at $150. For more information please visit
